In a typical fire at house, residents have only a few minutes to escape. Because smoke in one area may not lead smoke alarm in another area, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA in US) recommends placing at least one smoke detector in each floor (including basements) and in every bedroom, and outside of each sleeping area. The NFPA also recommends interconnection of alarm detectors to provide better protection for the whole house than stand-alone alarm.
Meanwhile, Industrial experts recommend a CO alarm to be installed in each floor of the house, especially in areas with fuel burning appliances and outside of sleeping areas. Besides, Gas detector is a very important devices which should be installed in the kitchen. There are many types of gas detector, such as LNG gas detector and LPG gas detector, to detect the corresponding gas. LNG Gas detector should be installed on the ceiling, better 2 meters from the gas stove; While LPG gas detector should be installed 0.3 to 1 meters above the ground.
